Basic Info;
Name/Handle: Epi
Are you 18 or over?: Yes

Character Info;

Premade: [Annabel Lee]: Annabel is dead. Or, more accurately, Annabel thinks she died, once upon a time. She's running away from her own ghost at Bellum Letale, and (unknowingly) straight into the arms of her creator [Victor Frankenstein]. [Scarecrow] and [Fear], she knows from her mischievous past, and she can't quite figure out why she's so obsessively drawn to [Ichabod Crane].

Name: Jude Leigh Bell
Age: 24
Played By: Ella Levy

Personality: Jude likes the rain and the salt water in her hair. She's well past the impulses of youth, and she's practical, yet hedonistic. She's not hopeful and full of dreams like she was ten years past. She knows herself well enough not to be easily embarrassed, and she's confident in a way only a woman who is sure of herself can be.

She's well read, but she doesn't like the stuffiness of books and learnings. She'd much rather live life than read about it. She likes visceral things, things she can touch and feel and hold. She's not prone to fear or uncertainty; it's one of her biggest flaws.

She isn't particularly friendly, nor is she particularly cruel. She pursues things that are advantageous to her, and what she considers advantageous changes as often as the weather. She can be fickle, and she can be selfish, and she's always mindful of the finish line.

She'd tell you happy endings don't happen, and she'd point to her parents as an example of reality triumphing over dreams. She doesn't believe her own lies.

History: Jude was born on the first day of the fishing season, 1985, on Martha's Vineyard, to an old, prominent family. Her ancestors had owned most of the Outer Land docks and boating grounds since fishing first became profitable in those waters, and the decline of the enterprise in recent years left their wealth diminished, but not obliterated.

The family had stopped working the waters years before Jude's parents were born, but that didn't mean Jude didn't earn her sea legs before her land legs, because she did. A lifetime spent sailing taught her to love the awesome, seemingly endless power of the murky depths. Her childhood was filled with dreams of glowing golden castles under the blue blanket of liquid. She thought it was Atlantis, and she'd spent most of her college years seeking it.

Life in Cape Cod wasn't all fish and sailboats, however. Jude's mother ran the family business, and her father specialized in keeping the rich, married women of the islands entertained. Jude seldom saw either of them, though she heard their fights through the sea-touched walls of the family's home. The exception, of course, was during social occasions. They'd presented a perfect facade at glorious galas in Nantucket and sumptuous suppers on Long Island.

Jude had grown up headstrong and independent, surrounded by other island children who had been raised in similar opulence, with similar disregard for their emotional needs and with emphasis on the blueness in their blood and the weight of their wallets.

By the time Jude left for college, the white paint that had illuminated the family home so brightly during her childhood had faded grey, and the pristine black gate swung in the sea air with neglect.

Jude wasn't particularly interested in a degree, so her years at Long Island University involved an amalgam of classes that interested her - no rhyme or reason. It resulted in a very well read, very argumentative and very opinionated young adult. It also resulted in years of partying on the family fortune and causing spectacles at the parties of wealthy families along the island shores and abroad. By the time college ended, her name was linked inexorably with trouble; she considered it a job well done.

After her escapades, she settled down in Manhattan, where she met a lovely man named Charles: a teacher with dark hair and kind eyes. They'd exchanged rings, promised to love and cherish, planned for rocking chairs and grey hair. Then, one day, he was gone.

But it wasn't just him. Her entire life was gone. In her bed, a stranger slept, and when she'd found Charles, he was no longer wearing a ring; Instead, he was spending his Sundays delivering white roses to a grave Jude could not bring herself to look at, another woman's fingers twined with his own.

She works on her schooner, the Luxus, giving boat tours to tourists on the harbor, and she has no idea why she's moving into Bellum Letale. Her memories of Charles and of that life are fading more every day, to the point where she has to write things down to remind herself about him.

Future Plans: Jude had a romance with [Victor Frankenstein] in her late teens, and the two remained casual friends until the moment when everything changed. She hasn't seen him since, and she has no idea what transpired and how he plays into it. With that as a given, she'd be glad to see him in the building.

She still has access to all her money, though she feels a horrible terror when she thinks of having to leave the building to visit any aspects of her old life. Even her schooner is new, as is her job. She is exceptionally financially comfortable, however, as she has a nice inheritance from her grandmother, which she squirreled away in a secret account - safekeeping, in case the family business went under. She no longer often speaks with either parent, except on holidays, and prefers to play phone tag with them if at all possible.

As time passes, her memories of Charles will continue to fade (a result of the reanimation process). She'll be left with only paper hints about him, which will lead her to think he's [Ichabod Crane].

As for her past escapades with [Scarecrow] and [Fear], I'm hoping they will be indicative of her wild-child days, while also serving to give her ties to others in the building.

Ability/Powers: Jude is, literally, a reanimation - but since she was, for a time, dead, she'll be able to do standard 'haunt' things eventually. Walk through walls, be places without being seen, etc.
